techno

i just paid $20 to go techno dancing this weekend at the american museum of natural history (because we all know that techno is, in fact, history). i have no idea why i bought it when there are plenty of other bills just screeching to be paid. i used to love techno when i was in undergrad - it was the only thing that would have a driving beat that went on long enough to keep me up all night long - at the studio, in those sweaty nasty nightclubs. if it's good though maybe i'll figure out how to zone out and just sort of go with the flow and who knows, enjoy myself?
