big no no

i had my second meeting with the theater troupe tonight. i'm eager to get started, but i have one more interview to go before i get in officially. then my weekends will be sucked up by production and hanging around creative rabble rousers, and that is something i'm looking forward to.

one thing i must protest about though... if you are going to set out drinks with little snacks on fancy trays for your guests in your fancy manhattan apartment, do not, i repeat DO NOT sneak cubes of velveeta cheese in with the rest of the gourmet cheeses, fruits and olives. that's just a whole nother level of wrong right there. velveeta has a proper time and place, usually in my childhood when i didn't know any better.

the room is coming back together. moving things in while trying to finish painting is making things difficult, but i think my roommates have put up with the messy living room for long enough. it'll take a bit before it's picture ready. on a different happy note, i just found a great radio station called radio new york that's perfect to wake up to, so now there will be no more incorporating NPR stories into my dreams.
